Safety on UniLift

UniLift is built around a closed community of verified students and staff on the same campus.

What UniLift does

Manual verification. Every rider and driver submits a photo of their student or staff card, which our team reviews before they can book or drive. Drivers also submit their car details.
Campus-only matching. Riders only see drivers from their own campus, and drivers only see requests from theirs.
You see who is coming. Before you accept an offer you see the driver's name, photo, rating, car and number plate.
Share your trip. Send a live link to a friend with one tap.
Emergency tools. The ride screen has a one-tap emergency screen with call buttons and a message to your trusted contact.
Ratings and reports. Rate every trip. Report problems from the app and our team reviews them.

Match the plate and the driver's photo before getting in. If anything is off, cancel.
Share your trip when travelling at night.
Agree the fare in the app before the trip. Pay in cash only the agreed amount.
Add a trusted contact in Settings.
